The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) hosted the “Family Office and Family Business Thought Leaders Forum” at The Hong Kong Jockey Club on February 27, 2025. Over 80 participants, including scholars and experts, gathered to discuss the crucial role and evolving trends of family offices and family businesses. The event featured a keynote speech by Professor Roger King on transitioning from family businesses to family offices, and a panel discussion on their values and social impact. The forum concluded with an announcement by Professor Kai-Lung HUI about the launch of Asia's first MSc in Family Office and Family Business in 2025/26, highlighting HKUST's commitment to innovation and education in this field.
