Introduction to the Foundation
Objectives
The HKUST Foundation is an establishment under the Council of the University to proactively reach out and solicit support for HKUST. Its key objectives are:
- To promote the University’s vision, mission and values to the wider community and garner goodwill;
- To strengthen the University’s fundraising capabilities by taking a leading role in identifying and soliciting private funding;
- To recognize donors and supporters of the University and steward them for continuous contributions; and
- To broaden the support base and actively engage the alumni and other industrial stakeholders for the sustained development of the University.
Donation Usage
Unless otherwise specified, donations received will be used for university development, with allocation of funds determined by the Senior Administration.

Your support is a testament to your belief in our missions to advance knowledge through teaching and research, and to assist in the economic and social development of Hong Kong.
